Silver Lake Golf Club first opened for play in 1920. This is a mature old-style type course with Donald Ross type postage stamp size greens.
Long ball hitters will be in their element on the front nine if they can keep the golf ball in the short grass off the tee, and have the yardages to carry creeks. The back rewards shot makers who can hit hybrids and long irons into small greens. The course also overs beautiful lake views.
Silver Lake Country Club plays to a par-70 and a maximum distance of 6,012 yards.

I've played this course many times in the last 5 years this is the worst I've seen it. For $20 with a cart on Saturday I'd play again. For $25 I'd go some where else even at a higher price.

Although it's short, you better be able to hit it straight. Greens are small but run true.
